Where did my week go?
May. 4th, 2014 02:41 amMonday morning, we counted an Ulta (I got 2.5 hours). There was no office work at IS, because of health issues.
Tuesday, I set up 4 TVs and did an audit
Wednesday, Cat had the big loop job. So it was all driving
Thursday, I did the Samsung galaxy refresh
Friday I drove to Jonesboro and set up a TV
Yesterday I did the Costco run for Cat, and worked at Sports Authority for 4.5 hours
This week, 7 hours, RGIS ($59). 8.12 hours Actionlink ($95+mileage). And LOTS of driving.
Line-edited a novel and 2 short stories.
Also learned that the Costco Break Room Book Club (a highly unofficial organization, membership 2) has been binge reading me. They were deep in a discussion of the character of Tanis Sparks when Cat walked in to get her paperwork done. One maintained I love Tanis so much she's a Mary Sue. the other said I hated her and it showed.
Cat laughed and said "You're both right, really."
They were amused that I was waiting in the car. they had met me at MidSouth. They've read Nikolai, Glad Hands and Alive on the Inside.
Knowing I have fans, who talk about my books, just made my day.
