All right, loyal readers, friends, random passer-by, old antagonists.
I need help (not that this is news)

I'm trying to come up with what to give away on the Silver Anniversary Spectacular, beyond books.
I knit
I crochet
I make bath salts
I cross-stitch
I do tarot readings
I am broke. The big money prize might be a $20 Amazon gift certificate.

Useful or decorative?
General or magical tools?

Potholders and scarves?
crochet hooks with lightsaber or wand handles?
Taking suggestions.

Curious Question: This being YOUR anniversary, and a significant milestone one at that, are you not the one who is supposed to be receiving, not giving out, gifts?

This would almost seem akin to you giving other people gifts on YOUR birthday, sort of like compensation for another year (or the last one) of putting up with you.

Suggestions; some serious, some maybe not, for you to determine which is which, knowing me as you do, and which one(s) therefore to include/offer as prizes...

1.) Original Story, done to the winner's liking, barring anything that would majorly foul up or interfere with any already existing/established character(s) and/or universe and/or storyline(s). {Needing the occasional story idea, maybe offer more than one of these, maybe with specifications up front as to what [little] you will absolutely NOT do. See where & to what possible strange places this might go.} All profits go to the author, but a free copy goes to the winner--in whatever form the winner prefers.

2.) Costume (seeming to recall that you are pretty handy with needle & thread & scissors & measuring tape). If anything major, winner will need to front some of the production/material/shipping costs.

3.) Embroidery (winner sends the article of clothing & choice of design, and then you do the needlecraft).

4.) Risque Photographs (of you or Mudd; winner's choice).

5.) You as the winner's BDSM slave girl* for a day.

6.) You as the winner's BDSM slave girl* for a weekend.

7.) Personal appearance/book-signing in winner's hometown (winner may need to go half-sies on expenses if outside your normal travel range).

8.) Inkstained Succubus T-shirt.

9.) Inkstained Succubus coffee mug.

10.) Winner appears as a character in future story of winner's choosing.

To make things interesting once all that is offered...
Offer the option of rolling 1d10 on above table; random prize. Let Fate decide. Make it a roll on 1d12 on the table below if you are really feeling game; all previous stipulations still applying as already noted above:

1.) Original Story.
2.) Costume.
3.) Embroidery.
4.) Risque Photographs.
5.) You as the winner's BDSM slave girl* for a day.
6.) You as the winner's BDSM slave girl* for a weekend.
7.) Personal Book-signing in winner's hometown.
8.) Inkstained Succubus T-shirt.
9.) Inkstained Succubus coffee mug.
10.) Winner as a character in future story.
11.) Roll twice more on this table.
12.) Winner's choice from this table.

;-o

NOW we're talking a celebration!

* = No sexual favors. Winner pays for all travel expenses, plus room/cage & board.

I was thinking mostly of things that can be easily emailed or fit into a 6x9 padded mailer.

And I don't have a sewing machine anymore, so no costuming.

Also, did you miss the fact I always do a birthday giveaway?

(*Ahem*)

{Tap, tap...}

"This is not a birthday."

No sewing machine? Did not know that old thing finally died. Ah, well... I was (maybe, possibly, kinda-sorta) more interested in some of the "other" suggestions anyhooo.

NOTE: Bus & airline tickets fit just fine inside a 6x9 padded mailer, as do by odd coincidence (*joke*) risque photographs.

Be interested to see which, if any, of my suggestions make the final cut & get put up on offer... and then to see which one I might attempt to snatch up, and/or actually get. Presuming date & time stamps, are you offering takers a pick of 3 prizes, given in order of preference upon submission? Save some possible frustration in case your prize bag draws a crowd and/or a rush and the top picks are wanted by more than one taker. Date & time stamp dictates first come, so first served, but 2nd or 3rd choice was still available.

Watch and see.

Basically, list your picks (up to 5) in order of preference.
