So, seems they pulleed Obi from his AP Gvernment class to have a word with him.

He said they asked about me being Wiccan. He responded that yes, his mom practices a pagan religion, and that it is my right under the First Amendment.

They asked a lot of nosy questions about morality and about pornography, my writing and other stuff.
They asked about me taking Olivia to Mephit Fur Meet, a local furry con.

He was "snippy" with them. (the officer's words to Jon, who was willing to give our address, our professions and no more)


I was turned in for child abuse because my family is different.
Because we are pagan
Because Olivia is out as bisexual
Because I write spicy romance
Because we go to conventions.


Blessed is the norm.

Con parents, beware

And the hits just keep on coming.

The police talked to Oli today, asking her about conventions. About the fact she goes to conventions where people dress as animals (Mephit Fur Meet) and wear badges. The prize question was "And these badges have different colors to show who you can have sex with?" Oli looked at her and said "WHAT? No! Con security requires minors to show it on their badge so they know who can't be out after curfew."
Then they were asking "Do you watch porn, do your parents watch porn, do your parents let you watch porn? Do you know what porn is?" I am pleased to report Oli got snippy.

To me, it sounds like they think I'm desensitizing her with porn and pimping her out at conventions. Yes, I have already bayed at the sky and sworn hideous vengeance on anyone I find out is telling these lies about us, about the entire con community.


To folks who are asking, I have an attorney friend who is very excited to be helping me on this. And his price is reasonable. We are getting through this. My living room is currently empty and being scrubbed before painting. My bathrooms are clean and my halls decluttered. We're doing the kitchen and bedrooms and study soon.
