Some small busy day

The tax refund arrived today
So, after my workout, I took care of a few things.

I bought some books I'd wanted:
KZ Snow's Mongrel, James Buchanan's All or Nothing, DJ MAnly's Weeping Roses, Chris and Jodi's new Deviations, and Kiernan Kelly's Cornfed. The Ellora's Cave site took my money via paypal and refused to let me have "Appearing Nightly," or file a complaint or access my download history.

I also made reservations for Fandom fest and DucKon.

Worked out, showered, watching Gangs of New York.

Edited to add: EC's complaint staff was fast and courteous. I now have my copy of Appearing Nightly.

It's finally come down to it

I have a raging infection in my mouth. As in overdosing on tylenol to function pain levels.
My dentist has me on antibiotics, and next Thursday, I am having oral surgery. I'm losing several rotten, broken and abcessed front teeth. I have an appointment on Wed to discuss which ones and get my partial plate organized.

Not sure about this. One one hand, my TEETH. On the other, no more pain, no more shame, no more root canals.
