what a day

It went pretty well until Dollface wiped out at the end of the drive.
She lost all the skin on her right knee and there are a couple of scar-deep gouges.


Bun's on her way back to the hospital. We had pizza and Wal-mart today. Seems we had no bandaids or antibiotic ointment. I did a look-over on the bad logs. Hmmm, all Thursdays.
This seems to be a trend.

Got some transcription done. Did very little actual "pull it all out of thin air" writing.

So Dollface is writing something. She comes in needing to know how to spell secret.

She shows me. "By your Secret mirefire."
I asked if she meant "Secret admirer." She confirmed that yes, she did.

She couldn't tell me who it was. that's part of the secret.

This has been a slightly-baffled-yet-proud mommy moment. We now return you to your regular surfing.
