Stuff and nonsense

Stuck in the Super 8, I watched "Trick my Truck" and "The Dukes of Hazzard."

The first: very cool. Now I really want to do the "Trick my Truck: Jihad Edition" vid. I swear half of "Hijack/Youmadin" looks like an ep. I could even do the silly captions, right down to "Bossman." who is not, in this case Bryan Martin...

Dukes: Oh my boys, you aren't even making me work for it. *sigh* There is no SUB in this text. Why do Bo & Luke have a double bed and a twin? And arm wrestling: eyes locked, hands locked as the bar fight rages. And "I got nothing against lady mechanics, anymore than I have anything against men having babies." I WANT to write aliens adbucting and impregnating Bo Duke. (Oh wait, we call it "Smaillville") Very entertaining.

Home tomorrow. Obi is 12 today, and Bun has an overnight pass.

in the library

There are hazards to using library computers.

First and foremost, I can't type up the 8 handwritten pages of "Sometimes, they wake up," the Nick and Sterling piece.

Second, my legs hurt from walking 5 blocks. That's ridiculous. I used to walk 10, one way to campus, and never hurt. Then again, I wasn't doing the equivalent of carrying a whole person on my back, either.

I have to hike back to the truck in a little bit and organize my butt.
Laundry, a check, notebook. That's about it.

Eng Warn light still comes on. Engine still errors. And my CD player is super-de-duper fussy. but the radio works, which helps.

And I have an 8 AM delivery in Cape Girardeau and then a pick up in IL, Monday.

ooo, goodies!

I got 2 boxes in the mail.

My matchbooks are here. Very nice.

And I have a big box with a shell-shaped bowl, a gross of gold coins, a gross of sparkly beads, 50 eyepatches and a bunch of pirate cups. I need to find my punchbowl, get a couple of clear plastic ladles and grocery shop. And we'll have a pirate party!

And there was an unpleasant review at Cocktail reviews. They can't all be good, I suppose.
