I took a fall today. My first in a lot of years. I used to fall a lot. So i have learned to be very very careful when walking. But today, I went down on a patch of ice so fast I didn't have time to catch myself. I banged my knee and my elbow and my hand. So, I am sore.
All done making deliveries.
Wendy's Cranberry pecan Chicken salad is wonderful. I had trepedition. I'm leery of mixing fuit and meat and vinegar. Too many SCA feasts that ended in me being ill.
I'm going to bed soon. It's a 2 AM hit the road for me.
I'll type in what I have written, and then read some Treasure Island (shut up, I'm enjoying it.)
I listened to A Separate Peace which was very good, especially as an idyllic New Engl;and to counter all the recent Lovecraft (although I confess to wanting shoggoths to swarm up out of the Devon River and eat the Crew team), and the first disc of Pride and Prejudice which was very dull. I have no use for women whose only interests are marriage, and married woman whose only interest is getting their daughters married, and all the self-righteous, back-biting hypocrisy involved in small-town living. Not to mention the fact Jane Austen TELLS us everything, instead of showing us anything. I rewrote half of the first five chapters in my head. She's all about state of being, and not about action.
