The Gaylactic Spectrum Awards are open from nominations
"The Gaylactic Spectrum Awards are given to recognize outstanding works in science fiction, fantasy, or horror, which deal positively with issues, themes, and characters of special relevance to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered communities."
2006's Output (all shorts):
"Rock Us All Down"
"Imperial Entanglements"
"Singing Up the Moon" (more issue oriented than the others)
"Hunger for the edge" (with Naomi Brooks)
"Blue Mistletoe"
The honor is in being nominated...

I survived the minor blizzard around South Bend. (Is God angry with Notre Dame at the moment?) and the whole trip went pretty well. I haven't seen that much snow in a long time. In the frozen tundra of northern Illinois, the sun glaring off the snowfields, The trees blazing crystalline silver, I really really missed my sunglasses.
