National Coming Out Day

I am bisexual.

This does not make me a slut. I was a (mental) slut before I knew I was bisexual.

I knew I was bisexual when I was still a virgin, when I had done no more than kiss a boy. Even then, I knew I wanted to kiss girls the same way.

Bisexuality is not a phase. 23 years is a heck of a long phase.

Bisexuality is not a fad. Billie Jean King, Janis Joplin, Dag Hammerskold, Alice B. Toklas, Richard the Lionhearted and Alexander the Great were all bisexual.

Bisexuality does not mean I sleep with both at the same time.

Bisexuality is not a sex toy for my husband. When I want a woman, it has nothing whatsoever to do with him. It's not done for his arousal, his gratification or his entertainment.

In fact, it's not done at all. See point one. The fact that I am married means I don't get a lady, the same way I don't get another man.

Bisexuality does not mean I "should make up my mind." I know my own mind.


Bisexuality is real. It is the attraction to both sexes, although one may never be acted on.


Do not assume because I am married, I am straight.
Do not assume because I look at women, I am gay.
I am bisexual.
And so is my daughter.

Late to planetary wank, but I was inspired

Dental stuff

My insurance covers check ups and cleaning completely, and has a $50 deductible, After that, it pays the first $1000 of dental expenses. And for big stuff? It pays 10%.

What I have: 3 abcesses, 2 broken teeth, 1 cracked tooth and a LOT of cavities.

What it's going to cost:
Fillings, $185
Deep cleaning, crowns and root work: $3450, out of pocket.

OUCH!

Dr. R. is good, though. Nice man, gentle big hands.
And he runs a "pay as you go" system. If I can only pay for one filling, I can get just one done.
