MWC 2006

I actually made it this year. There was much doubt.

I rolled in around midnight Friday. jkb drove into a scary abandoned warehouse in the 'hood to pick me up.
Then I did laundry. I crashed around 4 AM.

Saturday I worked in the blood drive all day. I amused Ginger while she was stuck, since she has a problem with needles. We took 38 pints. Mine was not among them. My veins heard the words "blood drive" and went to Aruba. (Aruba, Jeffrey, Aruba!)

I did some panels, including playing "Instant Recall Droid" for the SW Canon and Fanon panel.. There was "Whose Line"
And I saw the slash vid show. My own vid reel was rehash: Get Around, Phantom of the opera (techno) and Whiskey Lullabye.

I squeed over Waldo's ferrets and had a couple of lovely visits with the Vid Weasels.

The SW het-shippers invited me to join them at dinner, except I was getting ready to leave, and Adrien got talkative. One minute I'm eating General Tsao's chicken, the next, my placemat is folded in quarters and I'm scribbling.

Had a nice chat with sidewinder. Dear, you have GOT to talk me out of that "If the Devil Danced in Empty Pockets (he'd have a ball in mine)" vid. The world is not ready for a humorous Brimstone vid.

Enjoyed partying with FOE an mikasteellel.

I spent last night in a K-mart parkinglot in Mishawaka IN, and I'm home tonight. So good.
