A big Something to be thankful for
Nov. 24th, 2004 05:13 pmI got some seriously cool e-mail today.
1) My story from Torquere Press's Monsters Anthology is eligible for a Darrell Award. (It's a local SF award) I live here, and it features Memphis very prominantly.
2) The folks from MidSouthCon want me to come be a panelist on their "Librarians in Speculative Fiction" panel with Esther Friesner.
3) They're going to comp me admission to the Con!
I mean, I'm totally amazed. It was just a little "boy meets incubus" story.
In other news, my dad is driving down for the holidays, but the weather in MO is so bad it took him more than 6 hours to get from KC to St. Louis.
