So far today:
I grocery shopped.
(go to store, find food, bring hoome, carry in, scan into scantron, put away)

I'm finishing the first cross-stitch square. Gold looked better than blue in the green & purple knot.

I have made a to-do list.

I finished a 984 word Q/O story for Bystander. Mace Windu PoV. Intriguing. He's never talked to me before.
Hope she likes it.

Now, I must:
call my cubscouts
clean house
run laundry
prep lunches for next week
go back out because I forgot bread
take down the Christmas tree
clean out the junk corner of the study.

We're getting a Cable Modem!
::Does happy geek-ewok dance::
So the guys have to be able to access the back corner to drill holes in the wall.

I also found me a vest. It's khaki, with OOOODLES of pockets, including one with faux sheep-skin, and one perfectly sized for the boys (provided I get Luke's head glued back on. I found it in the weapons locker). Now all I need is a hat and I'm set for MWC.
(I plan to carry enough in the vest and a carryon that I can survive the con if my luggage goes astray)

Grease the ball-bearings on my hamster wheel. 'Sgonna be a LONG night.

[livejournal.com profile] heronirene just sent me finals on Illugi.
If she wants it for Escapade, i need to do it this week.

I found a bed for my Big Boy. In our house, the 5th birthday gift is a Big Boy (Girl) bed. Jonner has one with a head and footboard. It looks a bit girlier than I would have liked, but the price was right, and the mattress is a plastic coated hospital one. He's excited.

That's 2 of 5 beds that now have frames. Oldest daughter will be getting one in Feb. Inherited from my grandma's estate. Maybe a loft for oldest son... I want a big freakin' fourposter with lost of carving for mine, but those are more commonly in queen size. Too decadent in King.

So, dinner, made the broth for ham & beans, 3 loads of laundry, assembled a bed, and cleaned in Jonner's room.

Little stinkers (don't know which) found the chocolate coins I'd bought and hidden. They were each to have 1 bag, but someone ate all 8. (the others were prezzies.)

SO mad about that.

Signing off and heading for the tub.
I'll shower, then clean the corner. and then fold clothes while taping QAF.
