Somehow, this just sums it all up
Jan. 11th, 2003 11:45 amGot a call last night asking to speak to the Republican of the House. I affirmed that I was.
"So, what do you think of the job George Bush is doing?'
My inner Luther H. Putgrass came to the surface and i gave a 45 second rant about quamires in Afghanistan, sucky economy, war-as-distraction and finished with "So the democrats are in favor of infanticide. I'm still voting for them over genocidal republicans!"
Silence.
"You asked my opinion."
"::click:: We understand. Many people wish they could contribute more to the party..."
"You, sir, are a recording." I hung up.
Luther H. Putgrass signing off and heading for the tub.
