Editing: well into a novella by a non-English speaker.

Cleaning: dishes, picked up in bedroom

Reading: Finished Death Masks

Exercise and Health: Got my workout in. Awoke to an abattoir in my underwear, much to everyone's emotional relief. Have been trying very hard to be nice even though psychotically bitchy. And it's been wearing.

Job Hunt: Filled out application for receptionist, personality inventory for Actionlink and responded to two mystery shop offers.

Neopets: dropped Abominatius, a white Aisha at the pound. Adopted beatrizferreira7753, a yellow usul
(I've decided to start tracking my neopets. I've been using the labray and zapping them into rare colors for years. Now I'm curious to track them)

Now going to bed so I can go count a Freds at 6 AM

Good luck on the hunt. You are amazing. Sometimes it is hard for me to get stuff done when I feel like crap. You keep going.

Careful with those mystery shopper jobs.
Almost got rooked into taking one of those (if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is). Seriously? I get paid to go shopping at places & critique customer service, security, and products?! Hell, yeah! ...Oh, but they don't tell you that you need to pay the company for the job list of places you can shop at every month, you can only shop certan places in X amount of time, and that a weekly minimum of your earnings need to go to the company. I'd have worked 50+ hours a week as a mystery shopper, and maybe made minimum wage after all the deductions they don't tell you about until you nearly sign your name on their dotted line -- same pay as I could have made working 40 hours at Burger King as a production line shuffle grunt.

Consider a job as a parking lot or parking garage attendant. Pay is usually better than minimum wage, as the turnover tends to be high, as it is mostly parking yourself in a boring little booth all day with nothing to do but collect tickets, fees, and watch cars all day or night, and maybe do a foot patrol once or twice a shift to police up litter, report graffiti, and make sure no car is parked in the same spot for undue amounts of time (as in days, on up to weeks) which might mean an abandoned vehicle. Even with laptops, there is only so much surfing the internet one can do before even that gets stale... but if you were a writer, looking for a place to camp out, get paid, not be bothered much, and then just compose? Could be more like what you are after.

Could also consider going back to being a librarian.

Yes, I keep an eye on things. I used to do it. It wasn't a bad job.
I did end up with more motor oil than I needed once.

I've applied for a few of those parking jobs as well.
