Lessons from this year:
Never write for something whose title embarrasses me. I made this mistake twice and it has made promotion difficult for Barbarossa and the space pirates.
Read the WHOLE contract, not just the parts I know are problematic. Signed myself into a Life of Copyright contract doing this. BTW kids, just so you know: Ellora's Cave is pulling the Life of Copyright bullshit. Don't sign it.
