Laundry, it devours me

valarltdI'd forgotten how much work laundry is. The kids handle their own, and I just load it all and take it to be dried. One washer, 1 dryer, 4 loads. and 60 steps from door to laundry house.
I've spent all afternoon toting and shoving and waiting and editing.
Dr. yesterday. Mom's blood numbers still low, but her spirits are good. If she's feeling well enough to be grouchy about things, it's a very good sign.
Had dinner with an old friend. I hadn't seen him in 25+ years, and we had a lovely time.
Got 1111 words written, a scarf finished crocheting, and finished readin _Skin Trade_.
And today, lots of editing and laundry.
