valarltdI know it's early. I hate posting these before my birthday.
As a lot of you know, it's been a VERY difficult year here at Chez Mudd. I was fired this time last year and have only been doing part time work. My husband broke his back over the summer and the workman's comp is keeping us going, but barely.
My mother is back in chemo and had brain surgery last month.
So yeah, money is at an all time low. There is not too much we need, though.
Only one of my children has put forth an actual holiday gift request (combined Christmas+birthday):
Tripp pants, black and purple, to fit a 5'4" 130lb girl
What I would like for me:
Books sales. I write mostly same-sex romance. http://www.brooksandsparrow.com If you have a reader on your list, books make great gifts.

Submissions to Inkstained Succubus. We have slots open as early as next April. If you have a book or a short story, send it along, after checking the guidelines.
Real Objects:
Space heater. Our furnace works fine, but all our duct work is crushed. We live in a fairly mild area and can make do with space heaters.
An indoor/outdoor extension cord
A lawn mower
Yarn, especially scrap yarn, is always welcome. As are unwanted crochet hooks, fimo clay or clay canes.
For others:
Shop small merchants this year.
