It's a lovely day of sunshine after 3 days of rain. It cleared off last night for the trick or treaters.
We ran out of M&Ms. We ran out of Dumdums. We ran out of tootsie rolls. We ran out of cinnamon disks looted from the candy jar!

Mom has decided on her next craft projects: a Christmas present for her friend Alma, and a quilt.

We're doing the last day of chemo and she's getting an infusion of platelets. Monday is blood work and port access, and she's having a CT scan.

Kylie has a birthday Sunday. And next Friday, Mom gets to go spend the weekend with Alma while I go home after Contra.

It's a quiet life and a satisfying one.

But we're doing NaNo together.

We ran out of candy at 7:45. We bought the giant bag of Tootsie Rolls & Smarties. As we were putting up the "Ran Out of Candy" sign, a little one about 2 years old and her dad walked up. He was telling her that this was her last house before going home for bed. I ran into the kitchen looking for candy and found a movie theatre sized box of Junior Mints. She just beamed at us and skipped down the driveway. Luckily she liked that idea!

Mom and I gave out 143 bags of candy in less than an hour. It was so much fun. Thinking of you both.
