valarltd | A busy day

I crawled in at 5 AM this morning from a trip to Tupelo. I hate hate hate riding with our driver. She is fast and a little rough and plays the music way too loud. I like R&B. But I have concluded I do not like rap or hip-hop for the same reason I don't like metal or opera: the instruments, beat and general style get in the way of the music.

I got woken up at 9 AM, after 3 hours sleep by a call to come in for an interview and drug test. I'm now signed on with a temp service.

I actually got up at noon. We got my dad a birthday card, mailed mine and the kids', went to the credit union with Mudd's Workman's Comp check (yay, they started), did the job interview and drug test.

Then I picked up Cat for her birthday. We went to dinner, an she got her birthday tarot reading. We watched Sons of Anarchy and The Three Musketeers (Disney with Tim Curry and Kiefer Sutherland). And too much butterbeer was drunk. (Cream soda with butterscotch schnapps)

Tomorrow is busy too. I have to take Chris in to work, come home and clean, then there can be cake and Sherlock and more butterbeer!
