My husband made his first solo run. And he got through the house for a visit. He got some real food and good cuddles and a bunch of stuff he needed for the truck (hangers, laundry bag, gatorade, etc)
In 8 days, Monstrously Ever After closes. Bang out a fast 5000 words of horror fairy tale!
Saturday, I had a book signing. It went as these things always do: sit and watch and nothing. On the other hand, I did get called evil and unnatural. One of the people doing the signing was a Christian minister with a Christian suspense novel. He was offended when Aunty Breezy joked with me, about "So do I have to sleep with both of you together or one at a time to get published." and my comment was "Probably one at a time, the springs on my bed are bad." He hadn't expected to be thrown in "Unnatural people": witches and bisexuals and immodest women.
