In every situation, there are things you cannot say.
They lie on the back of the tongue
and the front of the brain
and wait.

Good.
Why should he care?
What makes you think things will change?
Male, isn't he? What do you expect?
And now he'll never be a man.
Rome, Rome, fucking Rome.

You can't find the video clip to give it context.
You can't go against conventional wisdom.
So you bite your tongue.
You sit on your hands.
You post cat pictures
and cryptic poetry
and all the minutiae
that will allow you to move out of the dark place.

Not guilty.
Found dead.
Passed today despite protests.

I bite my tongue...and know I am a bad person.

I try, I really do. But there are days when I am forced to confront being a psychopath, and having to consider what others will think--especially others I want to 1) hire me or 2) publish me--and it really annoys me.

(And worse, I can't even look like Christian Bale while I'm doing it)

There is a difference, as a wise woman recently pointed out on me whilest discussing the motivation(s) for a certain cyberpunk character, between being a bad person... and being a survivalist & realist.
