At the Apothecary

This is a Victoria, not a Landau.

Charlie's typewriter. Dragged half-way around the world, from Cairo to Greenland to India, and still works.

Hair jewelry. A little morbid. But still considering making it.

A song that made me think of Edward.

A model biplane. Made in the hospital out of some brass bullet casings. I imagine one on a bookshelf or table in Edward's den, either made by him or Nigel. Something he never quite got rid of.

WWI dogtags. The pamphlet reads "Don't take a chance" and shows a soldier, a pretty young woman and an infant. I have a feeling it was about using a condom and not bringing home the French pox.

This is an airplane propeller with a clock inset and painting. The words "Flight Surgeon" are burned into the broad part.
I'll bet Edward has one of these over a mantle somewhere.

These are letter openers made by various soldiers. The squarish black one is a bit of shrapnel with a blade attached. It's of German make. The others are French and US mostly. The less shiny one in the middle was highly detailed with an Egyptian scene of palm trees and pyramids. You can also see a little officer hat. It's made out of a shell casing as well.
And I know Edward has one of these.

This is a Holy Water font made of a brass shell-casing. You can still see the nose of the shell. This just felt awesomely post-apocalyptic and found-objecty to me.

Crucifixes made out of bullet casings

More artillery shell casing vessels. There were a LOT of these on display. But the grapes and chalice shape got to me.
These last three pictures made a mental set in my head, of artisans after a large battle, scouring the battlefield and taking the pieces and putting the weapons of Mars into the service of the Prince of Peace. This is going into a story.
