I got up too late, and found out I'd forgotten charcoal lighter fluid. So, I built a wood fire to get the coals going. YES! One Match! I still got it! They were really good about not getting in the coals.
Burgers, chips, fruit. They toasted marshmallows for s'mores.
Made the kids' favorite pudding with lots of fruit, strawberry lemonade and iced tea. And later there was watermelon and ice cream.
We watched some of the neighbors' fireworks, and I said we'd shoot some next year.
So far, I've gotter a bunch of CD's burned. The CD for the vids I want to make (so I can image and storyboard) and most of the SW radio plays are now in my possesion. (I had them on tape, but wanted the CD to avoid tangling) I'm burning ESB 9 and 10 right now.
no writing yet. Got some good feedback on a story that's been banging about for ages. I really ought to finish it. Right now, I need to go spend an hour in ancient Rome.
