Boo boo bunnies seem...well, single use. To launder them would dismantle them, and if you need to get blood out of them or otherwise clean them (being used as a medical implement, so to speak) it seems impractical, though cute for kids. The reuseable ice cubes might increase their value, but the biggest questions is 'how do I clean it and what can make it more durable?'
They might be for bumps and not cuts, but we're talking about children here. If they come to appreciate a comfort object, it won't matter if they're bleeding or not.
Sewing on the eyes and sewing them up with reusable ice cubes seems like an excellent idea. It would allow for them to be laundered, be more durable, and have a longer lifespan as a child's tool.
