valarltdI got fired today. No, no details. Just that I am curiously relieved and looking forward to nights with more than 4 hours of sleep.
No more half-past midnight alarm clocks.
No more 400lb engines without a pallet jack.
No more freezing in winter, 150 degree trailers in summer.
No more liftgates that don't work.
Looking for a new driving job. Looking for anything else.
I have some stopgap stuff for now.
Buy my books. Buy my etsy stuff.

It sucks that at-will employment exists. Used to be they'd have to give a good reason...
