Sunday round up

I am losing heinously at Julnawrimo. OTOH, I AM getting words on paper, just not enough. Come of being trapped in Editing Hell for 6 weeks.

I've cleaned out the freezer, crocheted, made a hematite necklace for Oli. I have worked out every day since Wednesday, done bookkeeping and finished one book I was reading. I wrote 6500 words and change.
I finished edits and got galleys back. I did a beta read and got initial edits back for another book.

You just have to be ruthlessly dedicated to getting things done. There are many things you do and enjoy that I wouldn't bother with. I turned down a chance to go dancing last night, because I was editing. I resented them for asking me to come along and leave my work!

I can only manage about 1K per day no matter how long I plug away at it. Plus, I'm easily distracted. I envy people who can get work done with other people around. I need my peace & quiet!
