Great News!
Jun. 24th, 2012 11:35 amI awoke to AWESOME news!
nbrooks and my urban fantasy, HOT DELTA NIGHTS, has been picked up by Ellora's Cave for an October release in their Hex Appeal line! This will be my 11th novel and Naomi's 7th.
Of course, they want a title change, because "night" is overused.
DJ Admire works the night-side of Memphis. She sees the city where werewolves drive trollies and teach college, where zombies load trucks and where Elvis is still the King...of the vampires. And where the local biker gang is really a group of combat mages, the bad boys of the magical world.
When Bran McKay, itinerant combat mage, the bad boy of the CM world, turns up in her office, asking for her help to defeat the demon Oeilette, his old adversary, the one who ripped his face off in Russia, one last time before he retires, she groans at the cliche her life has turned into. But the mana has other plans for her and Bran. As the demon summoning rushes to its conclusion, DJ learns many important things about herself, but most of all that she has no intention of letting her man die.
