My daughter's GS trop dragged me all over Libertylnd.
I'm dead.

I took the 3 biggest girls, and we rode EVERYTHING. Well, almost. Not one of us wanted to go on the Dutch Shoes (aka the Kamikaze), and the Paratrooper broke down. We also skipped the train and the taxi ride.

But the Old Hickory Log Flume? Sure. 30 minute wait, and we rode it.

The River Roundup? (Stand in a three-sided cage on the edge of a wheel, they spin it and tilt it) I've been scared of that since I was Bunny's age. Only ride Dad and I ever got sick on. I rode it. Great fun.

The Zippin' Pippin (Elvis Presley's favoriate coaster)? Rode it. I hate wooden roller coasters. They are brutal.

The Twain Twister (scrambler/whip)? Loved it.

The Wipeout (wheel: sit facing the other seat. They spin it, and tilt it, then run it the other way, then just spin it hard.): Dizzy making. Rode it twice.

The Sea Dragon (big swing): rode it twice.

The Revolution (Steel-coaster, up, down, standing loop and 2 barrel rolls): missed it as I had to pee. The girls went.

The Rebellion (6 story dead-drop): Do this at 10 AM, and nothing worse will happen the rest of the day. I was fine until my butt lifted off the seat in freefall. I opened my eyes to see my ankle attempting to meet my nose. I think I muttered "fastest torch on my crew" most of the way up.

The Tilt-a-whirl was great. We leaned to keep our car spinning.

The food was insanely overpriced and utter crap. Not even good crap. It was charcoal briquets on buns. 11 of us ate for $75. That got us a burned hamburger, limp fries and a 16 oz coke.

The reviews of "Eye of Dawn" are summed up as "Faster, Louder, More Intense! Give us a Rewrite!"

Bummer. My het sense is all off, it seems

Even my eyeballs feel sunburned. And I used SPF 45.

Cool tub, then to bed with a nice slash zine.

Or maybe I'll work on translating knit patterns to crochet. Got some nice cabling going. And I bet it'd be easy with a charted pattern.

OMG!!!

The one and only time I went to Libertyland, I was 6 and, my mom and I got stuck at the top of the Spider-thingy...

I've hated that ride ever since.

It's a thing of evil.

That's that Twain Twister thingy... I couldn't remember the name until I read the description again...

An instrument of torture...

No, Twain's Twister is just a scrambler. It's all on one level. You got caught on an Octopus. They don't have one of those any more.
