4. Pairing you won't read no matter how well written?

I almost never say never. But Yoda anyone (done seriously) is beyond squicky.

6. Does it matter to you if your pairings ever get recognition by TPTB?

No. Most of them won't, and TPTB have been very explicit (in at least 1 case) that homosexuality does not exist in the world they are writing in.

6b. If they already have it, does that make the pairing seem more legitimate somehow?

No, it just takes the fun out of it.
