Hi Angel

Sorry I've been quiet -- I just realized I owe you an e-mail (or 2 or 3). I've been slightly crazed and not keeping track of things. I'll reply soon.

I support the Grey Day idea, but I wish they'd list more offenders besides just Alliterator, or else take him off the list. It looks like he's sincerely contrite, and so to single him out as the lone bad guy on their site seems kinda cold.

No problem on the e-mail. Were I in your shoes, I'd be panicking plenty and e-mail would be the last of my worries.

[livejournal.com profile] elke_tanzer has listed a LOT of this sort of thing in previous entries. Enough that I'm in as a show of support, because it could be me next.

Hi Angel

Well, things aren't quite to the point of totally crazed panic. That's coming next. *g* I met that one deadline you asked about, but now I'm coming up on the next one (which may be the last one for a while). This huge freelance project that I've been turning in pieces of every Monday -- the last big pile is due this coming Monday. But I have gotten some zine work done this week too. Haven't had a moment to read your final revisions to Hunter yet (sorry!) and I'm still working on Dragonflies (the story I've asked you to beta), so it'll be delayed a few more days. But we're plugging along, getting stuff done. And Alex has bought her ticket to come out here. She's going to come to my place a few days before MWC so we can put the zines together.

My comment about picking on Alliterator was just referring to the fact that if you go to the grey day site, all you'll see mentioned is his name. [livejournal.com profile] elke_tanzer has done a great job of making clear the wider scope of the phenomenon and the issues involved, but the actual grey day site makes it look like it was just this one guy and they're launching a vendetta against him. It doesn't make the case convincingly and it looks like a personal feud, if you haven't read all the other documentation on the subject.
