The Family Time and Workplace Flexibility Act (Senate version) and the Family Time Flexibility Act

High falutin' words, but it's really a means of cutting overtime pay. Won't somebody please think of the WORKERS' families, who need that time-and-a-half to put food on the table?

I read Molly Ivins, and then I went looking for more info and found this Senate speech.

So now I don't know what to think, though if I had to pick one side or the other, I think the smart money is on Molly Ivins' version. She generally gets it right. This Senate speech says that employees can't be forced to take comp time; it doesn't address the question of whether bosses could subtly or not so subtly pressure them and make it clear that they had better go along. So that may be why Ivins sees it differently.

Ideal would be to read the bill. Anyone know where to get a copy?
