New ball-bearings please
Apr. 14th, 2003 10:23 pmWhat a night it's been.
I came home and painted eyes on Obi's slicker. He is now, officially a rubber duckie.
We got the taxes photo-copied and ready to mail.
We got the kids and went for Pizza.
I got the big kids into costume (most of their costumes, there's not a white turtleneck to be had for love nor money in this town) for play pictures. We were an hour late. I thought it was at 6, we walked in at 6:15, and they'd finished by 5:45. I didn't swear. I thought about it, but I did not.
Then i had to go to Cub Scout meeting, except my den meeting conflicted with the Pack meeting, which my husband was supposed to lead. OMG! So I called Hubby, had him get his presentation ready, told the Pack leader "Do the business part first, I'll bring him back" He came in, telescope in hand and ready to help the boys get their Astronomy belt-loop. He went above and beyond the call of duty, and got them the pin too.
The moon is almost full, and Jupiter and Saturn were very bright.
In there, i had to go get the big kids. Who weren't done. Ug. Oh man, i hate watching children's plays in rehersal, it's so discouraging.
We came back, rounded everyone up. i volunteered for Day Camp. Music. As if I can sing...
Finally got everyone home, and discovered tufts of fur all over the house. And a dead bird in Jonner's room. Thomas, the Mighty Hunter.
Made some icons for my journalfen acocunt.
I have 2 Indy, the Aisha (egyptian kitty), the Lucius (that is no longer on this account) and a Luke.
I'm going to bed.
Tomorrow is payday, then 1 more day of work and I have a 4 day weekend!
I love working for a Catholic University.
