Having one of those weekends

valarltdFor some reason, everything is getting under my skin more than usual.
It's not PMS, that was last weekend.
But right now, I'm staring at my word processor and realizing that no, I really don't want to write about men. I'm having a lesbian separatist kind of weekend, and would prefer not to deal with men for several days until I can manage to remind myself that although 80% of women will be raped or molested, 80% of men are not rapists or molestors. There are a lot of repeat offenders. I still believe any man will commit rape if he can find the right salve for his conscience.
But between the DSK case, the thing with prosecuting women for miscarriages, the Planned Parenthood defundings, the 18 men raping that little girl (just Oli's age) in Texas and a bunch of other stuff, I'm starting to think I live in a Dolcett cartoon, without the eroticism or gynophagy. That men in power really do want women dead and are doing what they can to ensure we die from rape, die from self-service abortions, die from septic pregnancies and die from the electric chair for having abortions.
