A mixed day

valarltdMy run went all right until I made it to Portia. There was water on the road, rushing water, and it was down to one lane, with cops and rescue supervising the traffic.
I made to to Hardy (35 miles north) then came back, to get stopped in Black Rock (5 miles north of Portia) and told I had to drive half-way to Little Rock because the road was closed.
*sigh* 2 extra driving hours to get home today.
I came home to find the Big Royalty check had arrived. $328. Not bad. Not enough, but not bad. I am now registered for RomantiCon.
Got writing done in the laundromat.
