I'm watching THE JACKET.
And Adrien Brody just took out his IV

I'm sitting here feeling sick and cold and shaking.
I have a BIG IV squick.
Add in having watched the Buffy episode "Killed by Death," recently and I'm in high IV squick out.

I can't even look at my own arm when I have an IV in. I don't move an arm with an IV in it. I feel uncomfortable and unpleasant the whole time I have one.

And I cannot watch them in movies.
My heart rate is slowing, my breathing is normalizing and my shoulders are slowly relaxing.
But that cold feeling of too much adrenaline is going to take longer.


The weirdest part? I just discovered a medical kink I hadn't noticed before. Hand me one good Sherlock fic...

Needles aren't my favorite thing either. I actually passed out the last time I had to have blood drawn for medical tests. *shudders*

Yikes, you did NOT want to be me when I delivered B. I don't have an IV squick (although I intensely dislike them) but I quickly developed one over the course of that 48 hrs.
