valarltd | Why do I not have a shopping icon?

So, yeah, Black Friday aka Buy Nothing Day.

I shopped.

We went to one of the bigger thrift stores in Memphis. Everything was 50% off. I came out with 2 dresses for Bun, 2 pants and a top for me, 3 books and a necktie.

We srtopped at a pawn shop and I acquired a copy of A MIDSUMMER NIGHTS DREAM with Kevin Kline and Michelle Pfeiffer.

Then we went out for lunch at a small, family-owned Mexican place.

Then we hit The Mall. We rode the Carousel, bought barrettes at Hot Topic and candy by the pound (chocolate amaretto pecans are DECADENT), wandered through Pennys and Waldenbooks and called it a day.

And I bought gas.

I think I did okay for less than $50
