valarltdSo i was cleaning wax out of my kids' ears. I tugged Trouble's ear back a little and got a look at the tube in his eardrum. ::Shudder::
I have an ear squick.
Kids were out of school, Hubby's school was closed and mine as well.
And the forcast calls for still more freezing rain. All night every night for the rest of the week.
So, I'll just smile and think Hothly thoughts.
Tried a couple of new square patterns for the afghan today. They worked out well.
No writing. but i watched some Sentinel, and Buffy. The shadow play thing was cool. And oo, Willow/Kennedy fall out.
Caught "Fever" on Smallville. meh. Hopeful that this week is more interesting.
I like the suggestion they put the ship in the living room and say "Clark made it in metal shop. Got a B. We think it's a coffee table."
Apparently in Smallville, Driving While Black isn't an assaultable offense, as it is in so many places. Hey, Kansas has always been progressive.
But 3 inches of snow, and more yuckiness on the way. Warned the kids that Mom might turn into Jack nicholson if they're not careful.
And they're on TV restriction for eating 3 boxes iof Girl Scout Cookies without permission or sharing.
Oldest was part of a group who took the position "Parents should not restrict TV viewing." Only 5 other kids joined the group. The rest of the class is apparently a bunch of conformist suck-ups.
Daughter's reason: "Just think of all the pop-culture references we'll never understand." She's 10. I laughed myself sick when she said that.
Must go call cubs re: Blue & Gold Banquet.
