valarltdWe mailed back our first NetFlix DVD, Standing Still. I am too old to really enjoy that movie. A bunch of 25 year olds with decent jobs angst around on the eve of a wedding. Aaron Stanford looks very cute in formalwear. But it doesn't speak to me. By 25, I was married for four years and had a baby.
But when he hugs his girlfriend at the end and she springs some news on him, I mentally rewrote the ending of the film. She says he's squeezing too hard. So I wrote it with him going to find the groom and reassuring him everything was beautiful, while upstairs the bride finds the corpse of her maid of honor and screams and screams...
But that's me and I'm sick.
