1) Family is all back home. Mudd starts school Aug 12. The kids go back Aug 19 and Bun moes into the dorms Aug 27
2) Mudd and I went out for our anniversary yesterday. We had a nice time.
3) I had a sleep study. I have moderate sleep apnea and now have to use a CPAP machine. ACK!
4) Anne Rice did a fandom flounce out of Christianity, for most of the same reasons I left the religion. As I said below, I quit being a Christian. I'm out. In the name of Christ, I refuse to be anti-gay. I refuse to be anti-feminist. I refuse to be anti-artificial birth control. I refuse to be anti-Democrat. I refuse to be anti-secular humanism. I refuse to be anti-science. I refuse to be anti-life. In the name of Christ, I quit Christianity and being Christian. Amen
What she doesn't seem to get is that all those positions are FEATURES. They aren't flaws, they're draws. But Anne, I do understand. It's very tiring trying to be the exact opposite of what you really are to appease a god who hates everything about you.
5) Pagan Pride Day, Aug 7. I'm busily finishing up my stuff for it.
6) Friday, I had a lovely time. A friend had to cancel and asked me to fill in as a Tarot reader for a party. Trying to make The Tower come out positive is a challenge. 8)
That's really about it.
I think I'll go find some breakfast.
