I slept in. Needed it.

Today's tally:
4 loads of laundry done and dried
30 minutes in the kids' bedrooms (15 in the boys, with Obi, 15 in Oli's, and they did 15 alone)
Trash out
Dishes done
Smoky Surprise burgers for dinner
(divide the meat for the burger into 2 patties, add a bit of swiss and a bit of sharp cheddar, with a sauce of 2 parts BBQ, 1 part dijon and 1 part mayo. Seal the patties shut, grill)
Edited through page 30 of Privateer's Treasure. 80 pages to go. Sigh. I hate the smut-it-up edit

Tomorrow:
folding and sorting through laundry. Kiddos must try stuff on to see if it fits.
More bedroom time
finish edit

A slightly more formal version. It's a vintage 70s thing.

Smoky Surprise Burgers
1 3/4 lb. ground beef
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 Tbsp. smoky tomato barbeque sauce
1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
4 slices sharp Cheddar
4 slices Swiss

Mix meat with salt and pepper. Shape into 8 patties, about 4 1/2". Combine barbeque sauce, mayonnaise, and mustard, spread 4 patties with mixture. Top sauced patties with a slice of each cheese. Cover filled patties with remaining patties, pinching edges to seal well, make sure cheese is sealed inside. Broil about 6" from heat 6-8 minutes. Serve on hamburger buns.
