Of the Day's Annoyances These:
Feb. 13th, 2003 08:01 am![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
1) That my bedroom was cold and my bed and hubby were warm, which tempted me to stay put.
2) My shirt was wrinkled and had to be tumbled a bit before becoming wearable.
3) The kids didn't budge at 6 AM
4) #1 Son budged at 6:15, but only to the couch where he fell asleep again.
5) Bunny didn't move until 6:30, them only because I poked her with a stick. (It's a 1" dowel, I just don't have the voice to verbally wake her.)
6) Bunny played Cinderella: first with tennis shoes, then her boots, then the tennies again
7) I woke up hungry
8) I got Dollface the wrong size panties. I don't know who BJ is or why her size 8 pink undies are in my house. (Suspect Bunny brought them home from camp by mistake)
9) Dollface's shoe went missing.
10) I couldn't find #1 Son a clean shirt. I have washed 15 loads of laundry this week. Where the stang are his shirts?
11) Dollface insisted on riding in her baby chair. Yelled and she cried but complied.
12) CD player being wonky. Bumpy road no help there. Took 3/4 of trip to get it working.
An even dozen and it's only 8 AM.
On the plus side, Trouble dressed himself entirely. (He needed a bit of help when his head got stuck, but that was no biggie) And #1 Son made PB&J for their lunches, almost without being asked. (The kids like packing their lunches. Who knew?)
Cookie booth tomorrow, 5 PM at Big Star. Must finish house tonight and tomorrow.
Bunny made her daddy a birthday cake. That kid is a kitchen whiz! It was very good. Tasted great, good texture, very moist. Dad had two pieces and praised her lavishly. (The icing was spread a bit thinly, but that's OK too) She also made dinner last night: spaghetti. (well, macaroni marinara, I was out of spaghetti) It was gone, or as #1 Son said "Pasta la vista, baby!"
Got a Merry/Pippin pic scanned in, utterly slashy and adorable.
Must find free pic hosting so I can link remotely.
Also downloaded 3 eps of the SW radio plays. Replacing my tapes with CD's. Finished replacing my LotR. (I had the old wooden box set. Tapes bled through on each other.) Must check and see which ones I still need.
Grrrr.
