valarltdI got the Muppet Show with Mark Hamill! Perfect digital copy on my computer, to replace the skipy VCR copy!
Mark is adorable. Utterly, completely adorable as himself. He does a splendid Fozzie impersonation, sings, dances, tells bad jokes and gargles Gershwin. And looks appallingly like Alexander DeLarge in a tuxedo at the end when he gives his little half-grin. (it's the hair. I hope)
And he does most of it wearing a blue argyle sweater which is too perfect for him.
He's also playing Luke, but there's a very real sense that he's playing at being Luke, not that he is Luke.
Did I mention there were sheep? Lots of sheep. A whole song "Rama-lama-ding-dong" sung with a flock of sheep for back-up.
Also managed to finish my 2 Christmas squares.
I watched Buffy. Wow. I am blown away. Willow became Warren. And Warren did a splendid job of moving like Willow. Movement is one of the hardest things to be convincing about when playing someone else.
Loved the "Glomp Giles" scene. "Yes, yes, we all feel each other, including some of us who aren't well acquainted enough for such liberties."
"Secrets" episode of the Sentinel was all right. Poor Frantic!Blair.
Hubby is up, so must dress and go food shopping.
