Mother's Day

I have a conflicted relationship with the holiday, as I'm sure mnost people do.

On one hand, I hate made-up holidays. I hate having expectations on me. I prefer to hide until it goes away.

On the other, dinner out.

So here, have kid pics.




She looks like my mom in this picture to a ridiculous degree. Which is odd because Bun always has looked just like Mudd.





Obi looks just like me, most of the time.





Jonner is an odd mix between me and Mudd. He bears a strong resemblance to my great-grandfather.





Miss Oli is 10. I recorded potty training in this LJ!
She looks a lot like my mother and always has. I never realized how much my girls look like each other until we had pictures taken last fall. (sorry, no scanner)

You're not kidding that Obi looks just like you. Until I saw the caption, I thought the pic of Obi was a pic of young you for comparison. O.O

He's a rather handsome boy, when he doesn't have chipmunk cheeks and isn't stoned on Hillbilly Heroin.

The primary difference in our looks is his blue eyes and adam's apple.

Happy Mother's Day.

It's startling to me how much Bun and Oli now look like each other. Christopher as always looks like you and our father. Jonner looks a little like Chris but alot like Mudd. But they are all beautiful and frighteningly intelligent.

Course they have your genes.
