Watching Sentinel tonight, the ep where Jim goes blind from Golden (a drug). Oh lord! They're getting info from "Sneaks" the snitch, short for "Sneakers." Sneaks is very taken with Blair's Nikes, going on about mid-sole, and asking "how's that [special feature] tongue working for you?"

Blair looks shocked, startled, amused and gobsmacked all at once and manages to get out "Tongue is good" with a big grin.

Quick cut to Jim who can't hold his grin either. I swear I saw an eyebrow waggle.

My mind is so far in the gutter. I paused the show and laughed for aqbout 3 minutes, despite sore throat.

Triple Entendres are rare and beautiful things. (Blair's favorite food is beef tongue.)


OTOH: definitely coming down with a cold. Got my crochet squares for 1 exchange done. Need to check which partner I have for the other. Hells, I'll just make an aran fisherman's wheel and ridge & bobble. Christmas squares done to leaves. (leaves make me bonkers)

Parent teacher conferences Thursday.

Jim and Blair

Oh, man. Yeah. The Golden episode is actually one of the heaviest slashy ones around. Jim's crankiness about being a handicapped Sentinel because he thinks that's the only reason that Blair is with him, Blair's determination to do whatever it takes to get Jim back to operational status, and oh, the hug in the parking garage?

I was shocked when that made it onto national television. That's just a beautiful, beautiful scene, the way Jim is holding Blair.

I love this show. :)
