Another hard day of sawing trees.

Then, Bun calls. She's had another car accident. 3 since the first of March, 2 in the span of a week. She rear-ended someone at about 15 mph.

She's fine. My car is at the shop. We had to pop the hood to check. And I ended up having to use a hanger to hold it shut, since the latch is bent out of shape. (Why yes, I did study under MacGuyver)

I am wheelless again and annoyed as hell

The D-Man Checks In: Heh... as a matter of coincidence, I just got rear-ended by a teen driver also at less than 15 mph. No damage to either vehicle, near as we could tell. Kid was cool & hugely apologetic. I let it go, saying that this is why they call these things on the car(s) a bumper. I've rear-ended another vehicle at a stop light the same way at low, low speed int he past & was let go with a simple, "No harm done..." so I figure it's Karma & just returned the favor.
