Copy editors actually do most all headlines, and while we certainly love our plays on words, that's the sort we try really hard to avoid. There's a saying that seems fitting here: "It takes a dirty mind to put out a clean paper." I guess somebody wasn't dirty-minded enough in that newsroom... :)
