State of the Sooky
Feb. 2nd, 2010 09:03 pmWork: not bad
Fly: shined sink, showered, made bed, swish and swipe, 15 minutes of movement, decluttered 15 minutes in study. Kids cleared about a dozen toys for charity.
Kids: Bun had the Honors Banquet tonight. This is the first her school has ever had. Lotsa smart kids, some with over $200,000 in scholarships and a dozen college acceptances. (Makes her 75K and 2 schools look puny, but it's all paid for.)
Family: My uncle woke up Sunday. He coded Thursday night. They put him on a respirator and removed it Friday. He breathed on his own. He woke up Sunday and is clear and lucid. A little confused on the year, but mostly there. BUT! He isn't eating or drinking. So he probably won't be staying long. A thank you to everyone who sent prayers and energy. This gave Mom a chance to see and talk to him.
Scent of the Day: Tiger Lily
Card of the Day: Page of Wands. Change and growth. New activity beginning. A creative spark. Passion for life and total fearlessness.
Plan for tomorrow:
turn in truck for preventive maintenance (PM), girls to dr appt.
