The Take Heart Project is getting underway. This is a resource for women and children escaping from abusive religious movements and to educate the public.

Feeding the kids after recess instead of sending them out to play after lunch, may be more effective. But who cares if those stray animals get fed or can learn? After all, hunger is a great motivator.

We're getting swindled. National Geographic puts up a chart on how much we spend on health care, how many dr visits per year and our life expectancy. It's a pretty chart but the data isn't.

A bit of oddness:
Words I never want to hear, whether in regard to religious fanatics (Kellogg) or not: "Squeaky clean colon." Do yourself a favor and DO NOT google that.

NYT OP ed columnist recycles classic feminist essay I want a wife. However, Sandra Tsing Loh also wants to BE a wife, retreating into a mid-century fantasy.
