The good man who was to mind the house...
Jan. 21st, 2003 12:50 pmHubby stayed home to meet the cable guys who are putting in the cable modem.
Oh what a day he has had...
I called while he was answering Nature's Call. The cable guys showed up while he was still answering Nature's Call.
He stepped out the back door and smelled very strong gas, and so called Arkla. The gas co. sent someone out.
Our furnace is malfunctioning. The thing is only 25 years old! So he calls the Warrenty company to get them out. The furnace guys arrive.
And in the middle of all this, the daycare calls him to get the kids.
So he has no heat and two pre-schoolers. And the house is Grand Central Station.
Glad it's him and not me.
