Those children are adorable. I remember my elementary school would have pageants, and we'd just sing a couple of Carols and then a few Hanukkah songs, ones that usually no Jewish kid had ever heard of. But those babies are singing Handel, and on a fieldtrip, too. And with recorded orchestral accompaniment, which really just adds to how cute they are.

This year, Dollface gets to do it. She gets into trouble because she mangles the words. The choir director had a LONG talk with me about how "I saw Daddy Kissing Santa Claus" was inappropriate. She was disgruntled that I kept laughing.

I've been too paranoid to reply to this at work (which is when I remember to check my mail,) but that is hilarious. It took me a moment to wonder why the teacher would be miffed at Daddy kissing Santa Claus with gender equality at all, and then it hit me, and I lol'ed. Good luck to you and your Dollface! ♥
